"Przylapani na modzie"- fashion contest event in Poland.

Oh, I know I am quite late, but if you are still interested to see my photos, I will be more than delighted to show you. Some of you probably already seen my post on Facebook telling what awards from this  fashion contest  I brought back home.

"Caught on fashion" , that is  the tittle  of the contest (after literally translation) :)   .The contest is prepared by Galeria Krakowska (shopping center) and they are the main sponsor and the host. I was honoured  to win the look of the month twice last year  therefore I have been invited to Poland for the main event.

I don't know if that was well organized trip , but  I learned a few new  things and got a good lesson, so now I  know what mistakes need to be avoided next time. The trip to Poland was very tiring, as I was working a lot that time, I didn't have a  time to fully prepare myself, even I wasn't sure if my contest outfit was right.

When landed in Poland and rested, we drove next day to Krakow, what is actuallyabout over 3 hours driving from my city Wroclaw. With the full packed team onboard,  my biggest fans ( partner, daughter and mum ), with  eye allergy, I recently get in Poland because of air humid difference between the countries, I was driving  to Krakow.  Almost late absolutely ill and exhausted,  and additionally in a bad mood , we joined the event being late few minutes.

For my "winning" outfit I chose dress from Zara, absolutely gorgeous piece, inspired by Dolce and Gabbana recent Spanish collection. I called this look "Spanish widow", because I looked like a Spanish woman saying good buy to her husband on his funeral. Sounds creepy? Maybe yes, but that how I imagined Spanish  funeral outfit. Additionally, in my hand I have red carnation flower, what for is actually coming from  Mediterranean country.

The event was great but when I go through the photos I think I don't remember much. Stress! That is another thing I need to learn how to manage. I really wanted to get this award, that much , that my speech and catwalk on the stage, completely knocked me out! I honestly don't remember what I said, how I walked. When I see the photos from that moment I can really tell, how out-spaced I was. My face, my body language, it definitely wasn't me. Stiff and scared. Well.

But that was an absolutely great experience. I officially received my 2 looks  awards- shopping gift cards (so I could spend it straight away for my shopping at Galeria Krakowska) as well as an audience awards for the best look. That was an amazing feeling. And I can't wait to be a part of more fashion contest and events.

I know that is just beginning and it is amazing to finally see how after two years blogging I can see the fruit of my work.
