… from this breathtaking place called Jindabyne.

Jindabyne is a small town in New South Wales with overlook to Lake Jindabyne, very near the Snowy Mountains. The town has an interesting story, as originally it was situated on land that is now under Lake Jindabyne, the township was transferred to this present location in the 1960s due to the construction of Jindabyne Dam, on the Snowy River.

Parts of Old Jindabyne can be seen when the levels of Lake Jindabyne are low, particularly the top of the church.

The beautiful and quiet town, with this amazing view. I still remember cold and brisk air that winter afternoon. It is a popular holiday destination year round, especially in winter. This is due to its proximity to major ski resort developments within the Kosciuszko National Park.

I’ve been in Australai for a while so far, but I haven’t seen too many places yet. Anyway, this little town is kind of place which I find very enjoyable. Last year was more about and sorting my life out then travels, hopefully, this year will bring me some new adventures. I’m sure it will:)

In Australia you can find yourself in the middle of nowhere very easily – what is amazing! I should start doing trips out of the city more often! I honestly miss countryside.

See you next time!
