hot under the collar

'if i ever wear a detached fashion collar, it will have to be a hot under the collar one!' 
babette was struggling with the prospect of being ultra adorable.
'i don't want to be cute! i just want to be loved, merde!'  
she took her purse and slammed the door behind her.
few minutes later she entered ' la douce',  famous in town, french  pâtisserie and got out with a decent piece of tarte tatin au beurre salé et chantilly. 
then, she stopped at the nearest offy and bought a bottle of Bas-Armagnac Francis Darroze.
'20-year-old. excellent. i love you, francis. you are... young and lost! believe me, i can tell your future.'
when babette woke up francis was gone, tarte tatin was gone. 
there was only serenity. 
she was licking the rest of chantilly off her whiskers.
