"The powerful and confident young queen walking fast through her gardens".
Don't get confused with the description on the first photo below (photo comes from my Final Major Project). That was my first widow project at Fashion Retail Academy on my Visual Merchandising course. ( Oh I really miss that time...)

Iremember when we got from Tony Morgan (my amazing and funny tutor) our first assessment. I didn't really know what is going on, what we supposed to do etc. But when I calmed down, ideas raised so quick . Suddenly to my head came Gareth Pugh and his collection and I knew I want to base my project on that idea. And we followed it.
Its is just amazing when I think about the all preparation, how I felt unsafe and confused, as we were not really told how to do the window, just thrown on the deep water and asked to make our best.
With my OCD and own pressure wanted be the best I had to put all my heart, all my ideas, my manual skills into it.
For the first project called "paper window" we could use material like a paper or PVC provided by school.
So we decided to design a dress in a Victorian style ,straight from Gareth Pugh runaway. The ideas about background were coming along with the project. When I found, just more than perfect, walking mannequin, we could start the job.
I decided to make a dozen of fans using thick paper, covered by PVC. They supposed to be attached to the back of the dress making massive volume tail. We used the chicken wire as a base, on top adding more and more fans. Another step was to make a Victorian collar. And that was the most hard element to attach, but using some wires and our brains we managed it quick. The back wall has been painted in grey at first, and we made an amazing tree, using a plastic black leaves , and the real tree brunch. The floor idea came up to my head when I went through interior design magazine. I knew that a little black and white tiles (made from PVC) are going to make that extra look for the theme.
Choosing accessories to finish was another pleasant job to do. The black wig with pony tail I found ,was just my dream piece for the "queen". I really wanted to hang the pony tail, showing she's walking fast. Additionally pearl necklace around her wrist.
The last thing was to hang a bird cage with the black bird resting on top of it.
I could not be more happy of the results.
We became quite famous at school as people were talking about the window. Lots of verbal praises from teachers, management and students.
Fantastic feedback from my tutor and my first distinction on my school mark board.
Thank you to my lovely team Carlo and Richard for being so patience with my project demands ,but they knew we are going to celebrate the best feedback after it.
Check soon more my projects from Fashion Retail Academy.
